About the position

DC Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to oversee in-field management for ongoing projects and field operations. This role involves managing personnel, sub-contractors, project schedules, and budgets while ensuring high standards of quality control. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player and a leader, contributing to the company's reputation for on-time and on-budget performance in high-end residential, commercial, and historical restoration projects throughout the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage DC personnel and sub-contractors on-site.
  • Oversee project schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure high standards of quality control in construction projects.
  • Communicate effectively with construction teams and stakeholders.
  • Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong background in quality control processes within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in budgeting and financial management for construction projects.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, such as Autodesk.
  • Proficiency with project scheduling and coordination using Microsoft Project software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Public Works and Commercial Tenant Improvements.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading and construction estimating.
