About the position

The Project Manager at Wright Construction is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, management of project schedules and budgets, and leading project teams to deliver high-quality results. The position is integral to maintaining the company's reputation as a leading general contractor in St. Charles County.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the building process, including estimating, scheduling, safety, quality control, and progress reporting.
• Create and maintain the master project schedule using Primavera P6.
• Manage the buyout process, selection of subcontractors, and contract negotiations.
• Establish and manage project budgets, including monthly cost projections.
• Motivate the project team to deliver first-time quality adhering to project plans and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 3-8 years of relevant experience leading ground-up construction projects valued at $8M+ in sectors such as education, municipal, retail, and tenant improvement.
• Advanced knowledge of constructability and project management principles.
• Experience in leading successful project teams and managing subcontractors.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including familiarity with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
• Experience using Vista by Viewpoint and Primavera P6.
