About the position

As a Construction Project Manager at Actalent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire construction process for new franchise openings, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the construction lifecycle, including feasibility studies, planning, design, permitting, zoning, contractor selection, and project management. You will work closely with Brand Partners (franchisees), as well as internal teams such as Real Estate and Design, to provide essential input during the site selection process. Your role will also involve conducting on-site project quality control through regular vendor meetings and inspections, ensuring that all work meets the brand's prototypical standards. In addition to managing vendor relationships and project schedules, you will be responsible for tracking and controlling construction timelines to achieve successful openings. Regular updates will be required in systems like Sitefolio and Franconnect, where you will document construction progress, share photos, and communicate any necessary modifications to plans. You will also administer final inspections with General Contractors and Brand Partners, creating punch lists to ensure all tasks are completed before restaurant openings. Risk management will be a key aspect of your role, as you will need to analyze and mitigate potential issues that could impact project timelines or quality. Building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders is crucial, as effective communication and interpersonal skills will be necessary for success in this position. You will collaborate with the Director of Construction to develop long-term plans for the organization and partner with Global Support Center leaders to implement new field programs effectively. Consistency across regions will be maintained by working closely with Construction Directors, ensuring that all projects align with the company's standards and goals.
