About the position

The Construction Project Manager will oversee residential new home construction projects, ensuring high-quality work from subcontractors while adhering to budget and timeline constraints. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to manage teams and stakeholders throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and office staff to ensure alignment on construction timeline and specifications.
• Follow company standards and processes with technology and expectations to oversee sub-contractors on projects.
• Enforce code requirements and general safety at all stages of construction.
• Schedule inspections and communicate corrections to subcontractors.
• Communicate the status of the building project to key stakeholders by providing regular progress reports.
• Schedule construction operations and create a construction timeline to ensure project deadlines are met.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a construction project manager.
• Familiarity with construction project management software is highly valued.
• Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods.
• Superb leadership capability, organizational skills, time-management abilities, and communication skills.
