About the position

The Construction Project Manager will oversee development projects, managing budgets, schedules, and communication to ensure successful project completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, monitoring contractor progress, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Review sites and feasibility reports.
  • Create and manage budgets and schedules.
  • Select and oversee contractors.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor contractor progress for compliance.
  • Coordinate with utility providers for setup and connections.
  • Ensure project closeout and manage warranties.
  • Handle tenant changes and track impacts.
  • Lead weekly stakeholder meetings.
  • Prepare project reports and documentation.
  • Approve payments and change orders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in construction management.
  • Proficient in Excel and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with retail or big box projects is a plus.
