About the position

As a Construction Project Manager at our established construction company, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a variety of projects across multiple sectors, including commercial, senior living, parking, healthcare, education, and municipal projects. Our projects range significantly in size, from $1.5 million to over $100 million, providing a dynamic and challenging work environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all project goals and objectives are met within the defined safety, timeframe, and budgetary constraints. You will be expected to review project proposals or plans to determine timelines, funding limitations, and procedures necessary for successful project completion. In this role, you will assess staffing needs and allocate resources effectively across various phases of the project. You will manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring that projects are completed within prescribed safety, timeframe, and budgetary parameters. Your leadership will be crucial as you oversee project teams, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety standards, and quality control measures. Collaboration with stakeholders will be essential to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery. You will also monitor project progress, manage changes, and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Regular project updates will be prepared and presented to senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a commercial general contractor.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
