The position involves providing project leadership for the construction of dialysis clinics, managing multiple construction projects from conception through to post-occupancy. The role requires coordination with both internal and external architects and real estate professionals, ensuring that the construction process is effectively managed. The individual will also be responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair work associated with the facilities that are already operational. This position is critical in a fast-paced environment where timely and budget-conscious project completion is essential. The project manager will direct, organize, and supervise the activities of contractors, developers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. This includes supervising project quality and adherence to design specifications and standards. The role requires identifying deficiencies, investigating problems, and taking corrective actions as necessary. Regular communication with operations management and division executives is essential, providing updates on budget analysis, schedule progress, permit statuses, and any significant issues affecting the projects. Additionally, the project manager will maintain up-to-date project information in the Project Questionnaire (PQ) database and collaborate with various departments, including Estimating, Transaction Management, and Architecture & Design, to ensure project success. The role also involves ensuring strict adherence to defined scopes of work and contractual agreements, as well as confirming warranty statuses before initiating maintenance repairs. The project manager will interface with multiple departments to ensure compliance with guidelines and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive project information.
