About the position

The Construction Project Manager will lead and execute diverse construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. This role requires a deep understanding of construction methodologies and strong project management skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with contractors, architects, and engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, contracts, and change orders.
  • Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Establish and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and generate accurate cost reports.
  • Efficiently manage procurement and ordering of materials and equipment.
  • Proactively identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Address and resolve project-related issues promptly and decisively.
  • Ensure rigorous adherence to the highest quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to verify construction quality and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular, transparent updates on project progress to senior management, clients, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in construction project management, preferably in utility or oil and gas projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
  • Proven experience in direct management of estimates, budgets, and project financial forecasting.
  • Strong negotiation skills for contract negotiations.
  • Expertise in pull planning scheduling processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
