About the position

Caliber 1 Construction, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team in Villa Rica, GA. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for three days in the office and two days remote, with flexible hours. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience, and at least three years of experience in managing, coordinating, and planning projects in the General Contractor Commercial Construction sector. The role involves overseeing various types of construction projects, including Ground Up Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) for national brands, K-12 education facilities, retail spaces, daycare centers, and state and local government buildings, as well as parks and recreation projects. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and team members to coordinate all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning and design through to project completion. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities will be essential to your success in this role. Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project success.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project status and address any issues that arise.
  • Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in General Contractor Commercial Construction project management.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Experience in managing Ground Up QSR, K-12 education projects, retail, daycare, and government buildings.
