About the position

The Project Manager position is a direct hire opportunity with a leading construction firm, requiring 5+ years of construction management experience. The role involves managing the cost, schedule, and quality of assigned projects while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The position is available in Wisconsin, Iowa, and the Upper Peninsula, and offers a competitive salary along with full benefits and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, design partners, and other key project stakeholders by addressing clients' business drivers, frequently visiting project sites, and facilitating conversations with the project team.
  • Aid in the construction management process of assigned projects, including reviewing client contracts, participating in the preconstruction and bidding process, overseeing submittals and RFI processes, coordinating purchases, and resolving issues with subcontractors.
  • Analyze self-perform activities with respective groups and lead timely project closeouts.
  • Continuously monitor and manage job costs and labor production.
  • Participate in recurring meetings with project executives to discuss project financials.
  • Closely monitor project cash flow and billings, as well as price and negotiate Potential Change Items (PCIs).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a combination of formal construction-related education and professional experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with outstanding interpersonal skills for interacting with members of the company's leadership team, client organizations, and the community.
  • Well-organized, dedicated pre-planner, and problem-solver.
  • Ability to multitask, work efficiently both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, and learn and adapt quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Primavera P6, Procore, or Bluebeam.
