About the position

The Construction Quality Control Manager at RQC, LLC is responsible for overseeing the quality control program for construction projects, particularly at Naval Base King's Bay, GA. This role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing quality control measures to ensure compliance with contract requirements, while also focusing on customer satisfaction and timely documentation. The position requires on-site management and is integral to maintaining the company's mission of delivering high-quality construction services, especially in the Department of Defense sector.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement project-specific quality control programs.
• Execute quality control performance according to contract requirements.
• Complete administrative documentation on time.
• Cultivate customer satisfaction with clients.
• Ensure compliance with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Industrial/Construction/Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Ten or more years of combined experience in the commercial construction industry as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer required.
• Two years' experience as a QC Manager required.
• Current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate required.
• Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour certifications required.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required.

Nice-to-haves

• RMS/QCS training preferred (training is available).
• Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs highly desired.
• LEED AP, AP+, or Green Associate (GA) Certificate preferred.
• Specific software literacy (Procore, Autodesk Build, RMS/QCS) preferred.
