Construction Quality Control Manager

About the position

The Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) at RQ Construction, LLC is responsible for overseeing the quality control program for construction projects, particularly on military bases. This role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing quality control measures to ensure compliance with contract requirements, while also focusing on customer satisfaction. The position requires on-site work and may involve travel or relocation depending on project locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement project-specific quality control programs.
• Execute quality control performance according to contract requirements.
• Complete administrative documentation on time.
• Cultivate customer satisfaction with clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on-site.

Requirements

• Ten or more years of combined experience in the commercial construction industry as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer.
• Two years of experience as a QC Manager.
• Current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate required.
• Level 1 EM 385-1-1, CRP, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications required.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and specific software literacy in Viewpoint/Vista, RMS/QCS.

Nice-to-haves

• Electrical background is desired but not required.
• Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs highly desired.
• LEED AP, AP+, or Green Associate (GA) Certificate.
