About the position

The National Technical Regional Program Manager for the Technical Support Services Contract Program at Parsons is responsible for overseeing a team of professionals in managing various technical services for the FAA. This role involves strategic planning, client engagement, and ensuring the successful execution of projects across the nation, with a focus on aviation-related engineering and construction activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a regional office supporting local customer needs.
  • Act as the company representative with clients and subcontractors during program execution.
  • Leverage program and corporate capabilities to maximize regional performance and sell services to customers.
  • Manage a staff of technical employees including project managers, engineers, and field operations staff.
  • Monitor team performance and adjust staffing as necessary to ensure optimal results.
  • Develop staff through training and mentorship.
  • Manage incoming work requests from clients, including task analysis and project budgeting.
  • Oversee the implementation of project processes in accordance with the Program Management Plan.
  • Promote technical excellence through Quality Assurance processes and monitor project performance.
  • Develop and implement improvement strategies and conflict resolution techniques to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Report on project progress to National Program management, including significant milestones and high-risk projects.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of professional experience in engineering or related field.
  • 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or related field.
  • Broad general engineering background and project/program management experience on similar projects.
  • Experience working on FAA or aviation projects is preferred.
  • Ability to meet customer security requirements.
