About the position

The National Technical Regional Program Manager for the Technical Support Services Contract Program at Parsons is responsible for overseeing the management and direction of a team involved in various technical services supporting the FAA's Capital Investment Plan and other aviation-related projects. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction activities, as well as the ability to manage a program valued up to $50 million. The position is primarily remote but requires proximity to the Washington, DC area for office visits and client interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a regional office supporting multiple clients with technical services.
  • Act as the company representative with clients and subcontractors during program execution.
  • Monitor the performance of team members and adjust staffing as necessary to ensure optimal results.
  • Develop staff through training and mentorship.
  • Manage incoming work requests from local clients, including task analysis and project budgeting.
  • Oversee the implementation of project processes in accordance with the Program Management Plan, including Risk Management and Quality Control Plans.
  • Promote technical excellence and monitor performance across all projects for quality, safety, cost, and schedule.
  • Report on project progress to National Program management, including milestones and high-risk projects.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of professional experience in engineering or related field.
  • 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or related field.
  • Broad general engineering background and project/program management experience on similar projects.
  • Experience working on FAA or aviation projects is preferred.
  • Ability to meet customer security requirements, including a federal background check.
