About the position

The Construction Scheduler position at WSB LLC involves working closely with project managers and contractors to manage project scheduling and budget control for major civil projects. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in project controls, specifically in scheduling, estimating, and risk management within the heavy civil infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities

• Conduct project scheduling and budget control duties with multiple project managers and contractors.
• Prepare and update project-specific budgets, schedules, and reports.
• Monitor and document project progress to identify and communicate potential issues or conflicts.
• Produce Time Determination and Baseline schedules.
• Review time impact analyses and schedule claims.
• Interpret plan sets and contract documents, communicating with Project Managers about schedule compliance.
• Support the development of corrective action plans.
• Perform detailed reviews of contractor schedule submittals including baseline, monthly updates, and impact schedules.
• Collaborate with the project management team to develop project reporting for analyzing project status.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or business.
• 5 - 9 years of related scheduling experience utilizing Primavera P6.
• Experience in the heavy civil infrastructure industry such as civil, structures, or transit industry.
• Experience with data analytics using Excel, Schedule Analyzer, VBA, Power BI, or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Prior experience working in professional services.

• Experience with CAD or other modeling software.
