AECOM/Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Construction Scheduling Manager for our construction projects in Florida. This role is pivotal in the development of commercial strategies and requires a demonstrated ability to effectively lead the project controls function on large and complex projects. The Construction Scheduling Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production and maintenance of accurate project schedules, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with the established timelines and budgets. This position demands an expert understanding of schedule resource loading and leveling, as well as critical path analysis, which are essential for the successful execution of construction projects. In this role, the Construction Scheduling Manager will document employee performance issues and play a key role in their resolution. They will conduct root cause analysis and draft comprehensive project procedures, demonstrating proven knowledge of scope control and change management. The manager will assist the Project Manager in budgeting and managing incentive programs, while also establishing and maintaining strong client relationships. They will be involved in client and subcontractor negotiations, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have the ability to review and analyze project programs, oversee the production of accurate progress and performance reports, and assess raw data from project automated systems. They will also participate in staffing decisions for projects and ensure that a tracking database is developed and maintained to cross-check subcontractor funding with work authorization and expenditures. This role is crucial in tracking system updates to keep the Project Management team informed about detailed change order statuses, thereby ensuring smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
