About the position

The Shop Driver position at STRUCTURAL involves transporting construction materials and equipment to various job sites in New York City. The role requires a focus on safety, timely delivery, and effective communication with management and field teams. Candidates will also assist with light construction work and maintain cleanliness in the shop and yard.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials and equipment to multiple job sites in a timely and safe manner.
• Assist with light duty construction work as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, stocking, and inventory control of the shop/warehouse and yard.
• Communicate effectively with management and field teams regarding deliveries and schedules.
• Exhibit a safety-first attitude in all situations.

Requirements

• CDL Class A license preferred with airbrake endorsement.
• 3+ years of experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Clean driving record as specified by Structural Technologies.
• Current DOT physical card.
• Previous experience driving and transporting construction equipment.
