About the position
The Construction Special Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections and testing of construction materials in the field to ensure compliance with construction documents. This role involves preparing daily reports and executing various tasks as directed by the supervisor. The position offers an opportunity to grow within a successful team and participate in ongoing training and certification programs.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and testing of construction materials in the field.
- Verify conformance to construction documents.
- Prepare daily reports on inspection activities.
- Execute various tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- Experience in welding is preferred.
- General knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
Nice-to-haves
- ACI Field Testing Technician Grade 1 certification preferred.
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification preferred.
- ICC certifications in various areas (Reinforced Concrete, Pre-Stressed Concrete, Structural Masonry, etc.) preferred.
