About the position

The Construction and Strategic Initiatives Analyst at Redknot Homes plays a crucial role in supporting the construction of custom homes and the development of subdivisions. This position focuses on estimating, procurement, and strategic initiatives to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high client satisfaction. The analyst will work collaboratively within a team environment, embodying the company's core values of efficiency, problem-solving, teamwork, expertise, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Estimate certain aspects of each home with take offs.
• Capture and analyze historical cost data.
• Develop model for good, better, best series of homes across all product types (i.e. doors, trim, cabinets, etc.).
• Maintain job profitability reporting comparing budget, actual, and forecast.
• Develop and maintain detailed scope of work and specifications for all bids.
• Create budgets, scope of work and feasibility analysis regarding potential developments.
• Assist with zoning presentations.
• Work with team to create an inventory of standard plans with upgrades, various elevations, etc.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Proven computer skills and experience in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Problem solver.
• Time management skills.
• Interest in learning about new home construction; experience a plus but not required.
