About the position

The Construction Superintendent will oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves project planning, cost control, project administration, fostering relationships with subcontractors and management, enforcing safety protocols, and developing team members. The Superintendent will be responsible for the overall delivery of construction projects, particularly in tilt-wall, data center, and healthcare sectors.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications with the Project Manager and develop project schedules.
• Control costs related to General Conditions and approve subcontractor draws and invoices.
• Produce daily activity reports and monitor project schedules using Construction Management Software.
• Foster cooperative relationships among the construction team and subcontractors.
• Monitor and enforce safety policies and conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Oversee on-site activities and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Provide training and career development for subordinates.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-10 years of construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Complete and detailed experience with subcontractor and construction sequencing.
• Understanding of ASI's, RFI's, and Material Submittals.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Procore.
• Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods.
• Valid Driver's License and OSHA 30 certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in tilt-wall construction projects.
• Familiarity with healthcare construction standards.
