About the position

Hamilton Building Company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction of multifamily projects. The role involves leading teams, managing timelines, and ensuring high-quality outcomes in a collaborative and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily and commercial construction, with a commitment to excellence and a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction of multifamily projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Work with the Project Manager to create and update the Baseline Master Schedule, including procurement of long lead items.
• Conduct onsite meetings with subcontractors to review agreements, scope of work, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate activities of all subcontractors on site, ensuring compliance with the project schedule.
• Conduct regular coordination meetings with key trades and subcontractors to review schedules and quality control.
• Complete daily reports on the Procore platform, documenting activities and maintaining as-built plans.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Manage cost control and change orders, ensuring proper documentation and communication with the Project Manager.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in construction management or supervision.
• Strong background in multifamily and commercial construction.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with conflict management and resolution.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial planning in construction projects.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
