About the position

The Construction Superintendent will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and compliance with safety regulations. This role requires travel to various job sites across different states and involves coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise construction projects from start to finish
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans
• Manage and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
• Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues or conflicts
• Submit daily project progress reports
• Ensure proper documentation of all construction activities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and best practices
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using construction management software such as Bluebeam, RedTeams, or similar construction software
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
