About the position

The role involves coordinating and supervising all aspects of the construction process for AOR, including defining the project scope, goals, and deliverables that support build strategy and key event schedule. The position requires managing project expectations with team members and other stakeholders to ensure quality and safety standards are met and that work is being performed as scheduled within contract specifications. Responsibilities include identifying and expediting the resolution of design, material, grouping, scheduling, manpower, or other problems that could risk accomplishment of critical path work. The role also involves liaising with trades' management to control cost performance within AOR, assessing growth work and contract funded point changes, and performing various inspections to document discrepancies and ensure safety risks are mitigated.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise all aspects of the construction process for AOR.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support build strategy and key event schedule.
  • Manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Identify and expedite resolution of design, material, grouping, scheduling, manpower, or other problems.
  • Liaise with trades' management to control cost performance.
  • Assess growth work and contract funded point changes.
  • Perform inspections including structural, tank/void, and final inspections.
  • Document discrepancies and issue to responsible party for corrections.
  • Assess safety risks and develop mitigation plans.

Requirements

  • 2 years Foreman experience OR Apprentice Graduate OR Military Navy E-6 and above OR BS in Engineering or Construction/Project Management.
  • 4 years exempt related experience (Planning, Production Control, Engineering, Construction/Project, Merchant Marine).
  • 6 years non-exempt professional experience.
