About the position

The Construction Technician role at Aerotek involves building and fabricating various structures, performing cleaning tasks, conducting carpentry repairs, and inspecting and repairing trailer components. This position requires hands-on skills in construction and maintenance, ensuring that all tasks are completed to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and fabricate walls, kitchens, bathrooms, etc. in each unit.
• Perform cleaning of all windows, walls, ceilings, fixtures, and doors.
• Conduct carpentry repairs as needed.
• Inspect and repair trailer brakes, hitch, axles, tires, and locks on doors.
• Install company signage per company guidelines.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of carpentry
• Electrical knowledge
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience in handyman tasks (carpentry, concrete, electrical, plumbing, general construction)
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read blueprints
• Capability to lift up to 50lbs consistently.
