About the position
Tri-City Electric Co. is currently seeking Construction Electricians for current openings in Southeast Iowa. The Construction Electrician will be responsible for completing electrical installations and must be able to understand and follow safety regulations. This role is crucial in ensuring that all electrical work is performed to the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will be someone who is detail-oriented and can work independently while adhering to all safety protocols. The position involves a variety of tasks including material handling, basic wiring, pulling cable, bending conduit, and the installation of lighting and electrical components. The Construction Electrician will be expected to demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to effectively use hand tools. This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and follow directions accurately. Starting wages for this position will range between $13.20 and $26.40 per hour, depending on previous experience and skill level.
