About the position

The Constructive Database Lead (Database Manager) at Nemean Solutions, LLC is responsible for overseeing the management and integrity of databases used in military training simulations. This role involves leading a database team, ensuring proper data storage and long-term preservation, and providing subject matter expertise in simulation and stimulation databases. The position supports the National Simulation Center's operations and requires a SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a database team in support of military training simulations using best practices.
• Develop, implement, and maintain strategies for data storage and long-term data preservation.
• Ensure integrity of data for military training simulations by implementing proper database design and enforcing data restrictions.
• Provide functional and technical subject matter expert support to MCIS requirements and scenarios.
• Manage, modify, and maintain databases in support of military training simulation.
• Create new databases as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 5 years of experience leading projects or programs of similar size, scope, and complexity.
• 5 years of experience with simulation and stimulation databases.
• 5 years of experience providing functional and technical SME support to MCIS requirements and scenarios.
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining strategies for data storage and long-term data preservation.
• Knowledge of design methods and guidelines for data extraction and insertion.
• Experience managing, modifying, and maintaining databases for military training simulation.
