About the position

The Talent Acquisition Coordination Consultant at Mercy Corps plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's global talent acquisition priorities. This position involves various administrative tasks related to recruitment, including scheduling interviews, screening CVs, conducting reference checks, and managing communication with candidates. The consultant will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to enhance the effectiveness of the recruitment process and ensure timely delivery of key objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the interviews scheduling process as needed.
  • Conduct reference and MDS checks for selected candidates.
  • Draft and send introductory emails to candidates with required documentation.
  • Create and manage administrative folders for candidate documentation.
  • Create MC login credentials on the MCAM tool for selected candidates.
  • Schedule interviews in a timely manner using the ATS.
  • Source candidates through various channels including ATS and social networking sites.
  • Screen applications under the guidance of the TA Advisor.
  • Administer and schedule written tests and assessments as required.
  • Assist with closing requisitions on Jobvite as advised by the TA team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of on-the-job training in Talent Acquisition.
  • Demonstrated experience with Talent Acquisition processes and policies.
  • Good understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or trainable.
  • Ability to develop rapport with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Ability to multi-task projects and priorities in an organized manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, MS Teams, Outlook 365).

  • Experience in a global organization.
  • Familiarity with recruitment in diverse cultural contexts.
