About the position

The Consultant, Cybersecurity position at FTI Consulting involves engaging in complex, high-profile litigation, arbitration, and investigations, focusing on cybersecurity. The role requires technical expertise in various cybersecurity domains to provide holistic solutions for clients, including top-tier law firms and financial institutions. The consultant will perform cybersecurity engagements, manage teams, and contribute to the development of service strategies while maintaining knowledge of industry trends and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of cybersecurity engagements in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.
  • Summarize results accurately and concisely in written reports for a sophisticated client base.
  • Manage consultants on engagements involving teams of investigative researchers.
  • Provide oral reports to clients when appropriate.
  • Assist leadership in developing strategies to expand the portfolio of services offered.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, threats, methodologies, and core technologies.
  • Lead assessment of current threat identification techniques and development of new methodologies and frameworks.
  • Supervise results of incident analysis, combining sound analytical skills with advanced knowledge of cybersecurity.
  • Lead modification and enhancement of proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1+ years of relevant post-graduate experience in security architecture and network restoration and remediation.
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
