About the position

As a Consultant in Cybersecurity at BCG Platinion, you will take on end-to-end responsibility for individual modules within client engagements, focusing on cybersecurity and digital risk topics. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to address strategic, organizational, managerial, and operational issues using advanced cybersecurity methodologies. You will work collaboratively with clients to implement innovative solutions that enhance their cybersecurity practices and drive organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for individual modules within client engagements.
• Apply generalist consulting skills to strategic cybersecurity and digital risk questions.
• Conduct cybersecurity assessments including gap analysis and roadmap development.
• Develop cybersecurity strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to protect clients' infrastructure.
• Communicate complex cybersecurity concepts in a concise, business value-centric manner.
• Facilitate board and senior management cybersecurity awareness workshops.
• Implement cybersecurity transformation and culture change initiatives.
• Utilize cyber risk quantification to improve executive decision making.
• Deliver operational resilience through incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.

Requirements

• 2+ years of practical experience in cybersecurity consulting or management.
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, business management, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with developing cybersecurity strategies or policies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO/IEC 27000.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with vulnerability management and conducting vulnerability assessments.
• Familiarity with cloud security and managing cybersecurity risk from third parties.
• Experience in designing and implementing identity and access management solutions.
