About the position

As a Consultant in Cybersecurity at BCG Platinion, you will take on end-to-end responsibility for individual modules within client engagements, focusing on strategic cybersecurity and digital risk issues. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to develop innovative solutions that address complex challenges in cybersecurity. You will work collaboratively with clients to implement advanced methodologies and tools, ensuring that their cybersecurity practices are optimized and aligned with their business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for individual modules within client engagements.
• Apply generalist consulting skills to strategic cybersecurity and digital risk questions.
• Conduct cybersecurity assessments including gap analysis and roadmap development.
• Develop cybersecurity strategies, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Implement cybersecurity transformation and culture change initiatives.
• Communicate complex technical concepts in a business value-centric manner.
• Facilitate board and senior management cybersecurity awareness workshops.
• Deliver operational resilience through incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.

Requirements

• 2+ years of practical experience in cybersecurity consulting or management.
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, mathematics, natural sciences, or business management.
• Hands-on experience with developing cybersecurity strategies or policies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO/IEC 27000.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud security and managing cybersecurity risk from third parties.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and conducting vulnerability assessments.
• Experience in embedding product security and DevSecOps practices into software development lifecycles.
