About the position

The Consultant I - IT Service Delivery and Relationship Management role at Toyota is designed for a motivated individual to serve as a central point of contact for OneTech activities, focusing on infrastructure upgrades, application rollout support, and cybersecurity enhancements. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge and project management skills to support manufacturing plant expansions and improve IT service delivery to business customers.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a central point of contact for all OneTech activities.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades and local/enterprise application rollouts.
  • Enhance cybersecurity measures for manufacturing plant floor devices.
  • Collaborate with production engineering and various groups for plant expansions.
  • Continuously improve daily processes through customer focus and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant functional work experience.
  • Experience in operational or project management using agile methodology.
  • Experience managing small-medium scale IS projects ($500K - $2M) with teams of 4-10 members.
  • Ability to create and present concepts to management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Detailed knowledge and experience with technologies in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience implementing systems using Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Experience working in the Toyota environment.
  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
