About the position

As a Consultant II on the Enterprise Onboarding Implementation team at SPS Commerce, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of large enterprises by delivering tailored, high-impact solutions. You will be responsible for successfully managing the testing and implementation of our customer's solutions, ensuring that customer expectations are exceeded. This is accomplished by clearly understanding the clients' business model, the partner resources and limitations, and the value added by the SPS components. In this role, you will engage in various tasks including installing, upgrading, testing, and configuring systems as part of completing implementation projects. You will consult with clients to analyze and verify their operational needs, ensuring that you understand their business objectives and goals. Keeping customers and other stakeholders informed of project progress is crucial, as is performing post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products. You will work under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment, tracking the progress of implementation projects to ensure deadlines are met and scheduling issues are resolved. This role can be performed remotely or based in Minneapolis, MN, providing flexibility in your work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, test, and configure systems as part of completing implementation projects.
  • Consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs and understand clients' business objectives and goals.
  • Keep customers and other stakeholders informed of project progress.
  • Perform post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products.
  • Conduct tasks and assignments as directed.
  • Work under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
  • Track progress of implementation projects and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to apply, test, and re-configure data rules in order to produce desired results.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3-5 years professional business experience.
  • Experience with EDI, 800 series, Order to Cash, and 3PLs (Warehouses and Transportation).
  • Familiarity with XML.
  • Experience with text editing and data mapping tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of mapping tools and functionality.
