About the position

Join BSI Consulting as an experienced Consultant - Industrial Hygienist based in the Southeast region (Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee). This role is pivotal in transforming Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) for our clients and the profession. You will deliver innovative industrial hygiene and OHS solutions, grow our business, and collaborate with world-class clients. Frequent travel is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Blend technical EHS consulting with strategic business development to enhance client relationships and grow market presence.
• Manage complex industrial hygiene programs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly OSHA standards.
• Conduct thorough investigations, audits, and risk assessments, driving continuous improvement in health and safety practices.
• Mentor and potentially manage a team, fostering a learning environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Support regional and national clients with an estimated 20% travel (mostly regional).

Requirements

• Expertise in industrial hygiene and a solid background in OHS and EHS.
• 5-7 years of consulting experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or an EHS-related field.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency in project or client management.
• Ability to nurture long-term partnerships.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary team, offering expertise in industrial hygiene and safety regulations, and risk management.
• Open to travel (up to 50-75%).
• Proactive approach to identifying and seizing opportunities for business development and managing a book of business.
• Industry experience in energy, chemical manufacturing, government, high tech and electronics, semiconductor, biotech, and pharmaceutical.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist is required.
