About the position

As a Java Back-End Developer at Avanade, you will be responsible for developing and automating business functionalities of enterprise systems using Java. This role involves leveraging cloud technologies and DevOps practices to support various clients across different industries. You will work within a dynamic team to deliver high-quality software solutions, focusing on security and performance while sharing knowledge and best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate business functionality of enterprise systems using Java.
• Design and develop high-performance, security-focused, and robust APIs.
• Contribute to the design, coding, integration, testing, and deployment of high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct code reviews and suggest areas for refactoring and improvement.
• Identify improvement opportunities and ensure implementation with team buy-in.
• Interface with multiple local and remote teams, both business and technical.

Requirements

• Experience with Java development and design.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot.
• Experience working with databases such as SQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud technology.
