About the position

The Consultant/Program Analyst will serve as a liaison and support for The Navy's Family Readiness Program, specifically focusing on Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS). This role requires an independent self-starter who can create deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the military health enterprise. The position is hybrid, requiring up to 2 days on-site in Falls Church, VA, and candidates must possess an active DoD secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with on-site Coordinators and Case Liaisons as a subject matter expert for the program, including policy interpretation, compliance, and reporting.
• Provide program support for early intervention programs.
• Assist families with Developmental and Special Education requirements.
• Aid families with Accessibility/Adaptive equipment.
• Ensure families receive Assistive Technology devices and services.
• Involvement in high-level program inquiries and ensuring policies comply with government guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience with Individuals with Disability Education Act (IDEA) services, including Early Intervention and Related Services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Excellent multitasking, prioritization, planning, schedule management, and coordination of complex executive functions.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred experience in a military health environment and understanding of military organization.
• Familiarity with data collection and analysis from multiple sources.
• Understanding of Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS).
