About the position

This role is focused on designing, building, and managing sales territories for the Verizon Business Group (VBG) Organization, particularly within the Public Sector Segment. The position involves researching and strategizing to support the Sales team in uncovering and driving additional revenue streams. The individual will manage complex initiatives and programs, collaborate with various organizational leaders, and handle sensitive information while contributing to strategic discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage sales territories for the Verizon Business Group, focusing on the Public Sector Segment.
  • Research and strategize to support the Sales team in driving additional revenue streams.
  • Manage complex key initiatives and programs involving cross-functional organizations and leaders.
  • Conduct frequent module reviews and research for alignment with the correct segment and sales team members.
  • Perform annual analysis for intelligent module management and strategic decision-making.
  • Enable field sales organizations and enhance customer experience through strategic oversight of sales modules.
  • Respond to frontline field inquiries with high-quality, time-sensitive support until issue resolution.
  • Partner with Finance to consult on potential quota impacts from account assignment changes.
  • Collaborate with other VBG Segments on assignments requiring movement between segments.
  • Conduct frequent audits to ensure segmentation accuracy and compliance with Federal and company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Three or more years of Business Sales or Sales Operations/Support experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience managing multiple projects with comprehensive project planning in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Dun and Bradstreet hierarchy and analysis.
  • Understanding of the Public Sector or B2B organization.
  • Knowledge of systems, processes, and procedures including SFDC and GCH.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of Verizon reporting systems.
  • Advanced skills in G-Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in SQL or other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce).
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to mentor and train others and educate stakeholders on proposed approaches.
