In this role, the Territory Manager will present Strouse's product offerings and engage in a discovery process to understand the specific needs of clients. This includes probing for requirements and proposing applications that align with customer objectives. The position requires the ability to quickly gauge a prospective customer's knowledge of adhesive products and guide conversations towards evaluating their requirements. The Territory Manager will also be responsible for setting appointments, preparing proposals, and delivering them effectively to potential customers. Additionally, the Territory Manager will track and monitor their performance against established quotas, ensuring they meet or exceed minimum performance standards set by sales management. Building trust and rapport with customers is essential, as is utilizing CRM tools to track orders from prospecting through to order placement. The role also involves resolving customer concerns, collaborating with internal teams, and following up on post-sale logistics to ensure timely product delivery. Continuous training and development are encouraged, along with contributions to the improvement of Strouse's Quality Management System processes and procedures.
