About The Position
The Consulting Application Engineer (BI Specialist) position at HCA Healthcare's Parallon Revenue Cycle Services is a critical role focused on developing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions that enhance data extraction, analysis, and processing from various source systems. This position is based in Louisville, KY, but offers the flexibility to work from home anywhere in the continental United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing database objects such as tables, stored procedures, functions, and views within the database system. Additionally, the role involves writing T-SQL queries, developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) packages, and generating reports, all while engaging in performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance. The ideal candidate will utilize a range of technologies including SQL Server, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services), Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage. This position requires a strong foundation in computer science or engineering, along with substantial experience in the IT field, particularly in Business Intelligence. The role is designed for individuals who are not only technically proficient but also capable of working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
