About the position

The Consulting Civil / Structural Engineer position is an onsite role focused on a high-profile project for a respected organization in the MetroWest area of MA. The role requires daily presence at the client's office due to the confidential nature of the work and involves analyzing and reviewing engineering drawings, executing automated scripts, and performing detailed assessments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review drawings, reports, and design changes.
• Execute automated scripts and perform manual pass/fail verification.
• Perform detailed assessments and evaluations such as averaging and section cuts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience with concrete design projects, including analyzing and reviewing fabricator drawings and reports.
• Experience executing automated scripts and performing manual pass/fail verification.
• Exposure to engineering simulation/automation software, preferably Ansys.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and handle repetitive tasks.
• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
