As a Consulting Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with IT leaders, project managers, enterprise architects, and other technical teams to deliver products and services that meet their needs while adhering to industry best practices and customer policies and guidelines. In this role, you will work closely with various departments within the enterprise to define, architect, and enable the delivery of cloud services and solutions, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across a multi-tiered, multi-cloud strategy. This position requires a deep understanding of key concepts such as lifecycle configuration management, disaster recovery, and high availability, as well as proficiency in major cloud platforms including Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure. Your daily interactions will include collaboration with security architecture, enterprise architecture, application product teams, information privacy and protection, business partners, and vendors. You will be expected to stay abreast of cloud technologies and industry trends to guide customer strategy and adoption effectively. Additionally, you will support DevOps operations by integrating developed IaC into CI/CD pipeline builds and will be responsible for developing comprehensive documentation to support operational tasks and processes. This role also involves educating business units and mentoring engineers and developers on best practices and the effective use of cloud technologies. You will play a crucial role in migrating complex, multi-tier applications to the public cloud and optimizing the operational aspects of the cloud platform. Your contributions will be vital in supporting change, incident, and problem management activities related to end-to-end cloud operations, as well as providing ongoing service support and runtime system administration.
