Responsibilities

• Research, read and determine applicability of national codes and standards.
• Validate the project scope and sample applicability.
• Identify required testing and develop test plans under the project scope.
• Supply information for quotes including project length, resources, samples required, and applicable standards.
• Become a subject matter expert in a specific product category or maintain advanced product knowledge.
• Coordinate and lead client meetings and discussions.
• Provide sales support for product requirements, including direct customer presentations.
• Communicate project status to clients, sales personnel, and management throughout the project.
• Identify project needs and sample requirements for effective resource planning and meeting client expectations.
• Play various roles depending on projects, such as a technical reference or managing tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in regulatory compliance and product testing.
• Strong understanding of national codes and standards related to electrical products.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in international trade regulations.
• Familiarity with electrical product categories such as appliances, consumer electronics, and medical devices.
