About the position

The Consulting Group Analyst plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service to clients and supporting Financial Advisors (FAs) and Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) on a daily basis. This position focuses on assisting with digital marketing, portfolio management, financial planning, and performance measurement for advanced accounts, ensuring that the service team meets client needs effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage for a FA/PWA/team, assisting in delivering client service models and preparing for meetings.
  • Execute money movement transactions and answer general non-investment related questions concerning clients' accounts.
  • Educate or enroll clients in digital tools and manage order entries in a clerical capacity.
  • Stay current on all policies, procedures, and new platforms.
  • Execute administrative elements of digital and in-person marketing strategies as directed by FA/PWA/team.
  • Prepare and review client reports or financial plans for existing or prospective clients.
  • Assist with research using firm-approved systems as requested by FA/PWA/team.
  • Participate in client meetings, representing the service lens as directed by FA/PWA/team.
  • Engage in firm initiatives, training programs, special projects, and other duties as directed by local management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field required.
  • Four-year college degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Active Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required.
  • Willingness to obtain the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
  • Knowledge of financial services products including equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and managed accounts.
  • Technically proficient and quick learner of new and updated platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and internet applications.
  • Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and client service skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
