About the position

CapTech is seeking undergraduate Juniors for its Elevate internship program, which offers a unique 10-week experience in IT consulting. Interns will work on real-world problems in self-led teams, guided by full-time consultants, and will gain a comprehensive understanding of the consulting lifecycle while solving relevant client issues. The program emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and professional development, making it a valuable opportunity for students passionate about technology and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Master/Product Owner for development team
• Work with client stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and document requirements
• Analyze the current state and help design the future state
• Help set project cadence and lead team ceremonies
• Lead stakeholder reviews and client presentations

Requirements

• Current undergraduates with expected graduation dates in December 2025 - May 2026
• Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated contributors in a team environment
• Prior long-term school project or internship experience working in a team to create a deliverable
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum and Software Development Life Cycle helpful
• All majors welcome to apply; Analytics, Computer Science, BIT, Systems Engineering majors preferred but not required
• Availability to work 40-hours/week Monday - Friday from May 27 - August 1 in Richmond, Virginia (in person)
