About the position
The Consulting Manager in Healthcare, Pharmacy, and 340B at Huron Consulting Group plays a crucial role in driving growth and enhancing performance for healthcare organizations. This position involves managing complex performance improvement projects, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with clients to address their most pressing business challenges. The role requires a blend of leadership, analytical skills, and subject matter expertise in 340B compliance, with a focus on delivering measurable results and fostering a culture of innovation within healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex multi-workstream performance improvement projects or multiple concurrent client engagements.
- Delegate and oversee the work of junior team members.
- Synthesize complex data sets and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to implement recommendations for performance improvement.
- Set clear project team direction, develop key deliverables, escalate risks, and influence key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members and client counterparts to adapt implementation methodologies to ensure results align with client's business objectives.
- Mentor junior staff and provide feedback through performance management.
Requirements
- Effective organization and planning skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Impactful written and verbal communication skills.
- Team leadership experience including building talent and providing feedback.
- Subject matter expertise in 340B and performance improvement in healthcare.
- Experience with 340B compliance and internal audits.
- Project leadership and workplan management experience in pharmacy.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% weekly and work extended hours.
- Strong leadership and management skills.

- 6-8 years of consulting and/or healthcare operations experience.
