About the position

The Consulting, Project Delivery Specialist at Deloitte is responsible for driving software testing and implementation services across various industries, including insurance, financial services, healthcare, and more. This role involves estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities, as well as defining systems strategy and supporting system implementation. The specialist will work closely with business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Drive software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities; draft test cases that describe system requirements, entry criteria, and exit criteria.
• Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions.
• Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, and coordinating activities between workstreams.
• Research user-reported issues, identify root causes and resolutions, and implement fixes.
• Drive test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, and test reporting across all phases of testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field.
• 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
• Experience performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities.
• Proficiency in HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Jira, Perforce, Java, and Salesforce technology applications.
• Experience reviewing test cases, performing peer reviews, and conducting various types of testing, including System Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Experience conducting Defect Triage meetings, tracking defects, and generating defect reports.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Robot framework and SOAP UI.
• Familiarity with mobile application testing on iOS and Android devices.
• Knowledge of testing interface jobs using $Universe and connectivity tools.
