About the position
Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in San Jose, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. The role involves driving innovative and transformative solutions for clients in the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector, creating effective visions, strategies, and roadmaps that align with business and technology objectives. The consultant will develop insights from research in areas such as drug portfolio strategy, IP valuation, and market access strategy, and will create client deliverables to support project delivery. The position also includes advising pharmaceutical and medical device client teams on business processes and technology goals, analyzing industries for financial market information, and assisting clients in improving back-office efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Drive innovative and transformative solutions for clients in the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector.
- Create effective visions, strategies, and roadmaps aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Develop insights from primary and secondary research in key areas including drug portfolio strategy and market access strategy.
- Create offers, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.
- Advise pharmaceutical and medical devices client teams on business processes and technology goals.
- Analyze industries to synthesize financial market information and identify opportunities.
- Perform financial analysis and recommend cost reduction and optimization strategies.
- Assist clients in developing shared services organizations and improving back-office efficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field.
- 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
- Experience leveraging gap analysis in advising Life Sciences & Healthcare clients.
- Experience designing enterprise, customer, and operating model strategies.
- Experience working across all phases of clinical trials to launch medical products.
- Experience developing integrated operating model strategies.
- Experience designing and developing reports and dashboards to measure performance metrics.
- Experience transforming and visualizing data using Microsoft Visio.
