About the position

The Consulting, Specialist Senior role at Deloitte involves driving the development of Cloud-based technologies and participating in comprehensive network transformation projects. The position focuses on enabling the transition from On-Premises to Cloud, managing the full software development life cycle, and performing assessments of existing information systems to identify gaps and estimate resources needed for development work.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle.
• Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects to optimize existing infrastructure.
• Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premises to Cloud by driving design and development.
• Manage various aspects of the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, application configuration design, and business process analysis.
• Perform assessments of existing information systems to identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities.
• Transform detailed requirements into a complete systems design document and support the creation of interface specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field.
• Two years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
• Experience utilizing REST API, RAML, XML, and OpenAPI Specification for data cleansing and interface development.
• Experience performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using ServiceNow, Atlassian Jira, Git, MS Virtual Studio Code, and Apigee API proxy development.
• Experience designing and developing API conversion strategies using Apigee API Management.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience designing and implementing disaster recovery and network architecture using Load Balancer, iRules, and DNS.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Splunk and ELK Stack for root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Ansible for application deployment.
