About the position

The Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE) role at World Wide Technology (WWT) is a technical pre-sales position that partners with Client Managers to deliver innovative technology solutions to Fortune 500 customers. The CSE will engage in various activities including customer sales meetings, presentations, and custom technical design work, while leveraging WWT's Advanced Technology Center for training and demonstrations. This role emphasizes building customer relationships and expanding technical expertise in areas such as Infrastructure Modernization, Multicloud Architecture, and Security Transformation.

Responsibilities

• Technical Pre-Sales systems engineering
• Serve as the technical liaison to all supported clients
• Assist in developing Statements of Work, Proof of Concepts and Bill of Materials
• Network design and architecture
• Attend business appointments with Account teams
• Estimate labor hours for Professional Services work

Requirements

• 8+ years of Networking experience
• 2+ years of Pre-Sales experience
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments, ideally at larger Enterprise companies
• Strong experience with Route/Switch, Unified Communications, Automation, Wireless, Security, and Cloud
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Product demonstration skills
• Customer service skills
• Presentation skills
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
