About the position

The Acquisition Strategy and Product Marketing role at Verizon focuses on developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth for the Consumer Group. This position involves creating holistic marketing approaches based on consumer insights and performance data, leading cross-functional initiatives, and influencing stakeholders to align with strategic goals. The role requires a strong emphasis on customer-centric marketing, effective communication, and project management skills to deliver impactful campaigns across Mobile and Home lines of business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear marketing strategies at contextually relevant moments, including strategic briefs that connect target audience buying motivators with product portfolio integration.
  • Create compelling solutions from the product portfolio to target specific high-opportunity audiences and drive incremental growth for Verizon.
  • Influence and lead stakeholders across various functional responsibilities to align with new marketing strategies.
  • Drive strategic thought leadership throughout the marketing planning process for the Verizon Consumer Group.
  • Develop creative solutions to complex problems through in-depth evaluation of data and situation analyses.
  • Manage projects independently from conception to execution, ensuring timely performance evaluation and optimization of future campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work, military experience, or specialized training.
  • Experience leading and managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well with others in large and varied teams.
  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of trends and key business drivers.
  • Experience presenting findings and insights tailored to select audiences, including executives.
  • Experience with marketing research, research strategy, or consumer research methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze important data from various sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace.
