About the position
The Consumer Banker IV at First Financial Bank is responsible for managing existing client relationships and prospecting for new clients to enhance business opportunities. This role involves direct client engagement, account management, and collaboration with internal partners to provide comprehensive financial solutions. The position emphasizes adherence to compliance and operational standards while striving to deliver a first-class client experience.
Responsibilities
- Open accounts and perform maintenance as necessary.
- Run a Teller drawer as required by management.
- Engage clients through active calling, conversations, and follow-ups.
- Partner with internal teams to provide expertise to clients.
- Ensure timely follow-up calls with clients.
- Maintain operational and risk management standards.
- Assist clients with transactions via branch, drive-thru, phone, and email.
- Model First Financial's Mission and Values for peers and coworkers.
- Track, report, and communicate business results to the FCM.
- Collaborate with District Specialists to execute retail strategies.
- Function as a trusted advisor to clients, building deep relationships.
- Participate in site center huddles and meetings to support sales and service activities.
- Meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals set by management.
- Provide digital assistance to clients with online banking services.
- Assist in onboarding and developing newer associates.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of client experience in retail banking.
- Demonstrated success in consultative, needs-based selling.
- Strong product knowledge in consumer and commercial deposits, investments, loans, and treasury management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with consumer and small business credit.
